Combined Add/Update Helmet Screen

Now you can use one screen to either add a new helmet or update an existing helmet. Here is how it works:

Adding a New Helmet

Here are the steps to add a new helmet to your inventory:

1. On the HELMET screen, select the Clear button to make sure you do not have an existing helmet selected. If an existing helmet is selected, you will be editing that helmet instead of adding a new helmet.
2. Select the Add/Update Helmet button.
3. Enter the data about the helmet. 
   
   1. Enter the helmet information in the Add Helmet section of the page.
   2. Enter the helmet parts information in the Assign Helmet Parts section of the page.
   3. Enter the name of the athlete that the helmet is being assigned to in the Assign Athlete section of the page.
4. Select the Save button.

Updating an Existing Helmet

Here are the steps to update an existing helmet in your inventory:

1. On the HELMET screen, enter your search criteria and select the Search button to find the helmet you would like to update. 
2. Select the helmet you would like to update.
3. Select the Add/Update Helmet button.  
4. This time, when the screen populates, existing helmet information will be shown. You can update this information if needed.
5. You can also add or update the parts associated with the h elmet, as well as  the  athlete t he helmet is assigned to.
6. Select the Save button.
